Automate your Excel reporting. Schedule and send status reports and reminders by email, automatically.
The ReportByEmail server updates Excel documents using external data from any ODBC database and sends the updated Excel document by email to one or more recipients.
You probably already use Excel as your favorite reporting tool to extract data from your SQL server or any other ODBC database source.
Use Excel and ReportByEmail to:
· Get daily, weekly, monthly status or statistics, or
· Find errors or missing data and send reminders to the relevant person
ReportByEmail helps you automate the updating of your Excel documents and the distribution to all the relevant recipients by email.
· Uses the standard, build-in, database query tool in Excel to get data from any database.
· Send the Excel document as HTML formatted email or as an attachment
· Transfer parameters from ReportByEmail to Excel to provide individual datasets for each recipient
· You can make a schedule from every minute to once a year.
The server runs on Windows Server 2003, Vista, XP and requires Excel 2007 installed.
A client program is needed for uploading and scheduling the jobs. The client runs on Vista or XP and requires Excel 2003 or 2007.
You can receive emails on any PC running Outlook 2003 or 2007 and you don't need any more software installed.
